Last week, I wrote about keeping laminate clean and how difficult I found it to be. The process can actually be done in two steps and can save you hours of work throughout the year. One thing to mention before you get started with these simple steps is that you only wax the sides, fixtures and walls. Waxing the bottom of the tub can make it too slippery to stand in safely.

I have talked before about the benefits of vinegar. Along with baking soda, it is all I use to clean our entire house. One area where vinegar is really superior to other cleaning agents is on windows. You can get a streak-free shine with vinegar and not have to spend a lot of time scrubbing or buffing out water spots.
