I have always secretly wanted a Tupperware pantry. It’s so tidy and perfectly organized. Have you ever seen the Tupperware pantry that’s advertised? If so, I’m sure you probably want one too.

The problem is that I would spend a fortune getting one. Even worse is that if I started to purchase what I need I would have to do it slowly, mainly so that I can still afford to eat. Therein lies the problem, their inventory eventually changes and just like that my pantry would be half done.

Through this frustrating point I began looking for other possibilities and I believe I have found one that works. I found clear plastic containers that are sold per piece. This will allow more of a custom design, using the exact sizes and the exact amount of space that is needed.

The price difference is substantial. For a Tupperware set of ovals I would be paying $47, currently on sale from $79. For that $47 I would get 5 pieces. The smallest one would be 2 1/4” high and the largest piece would be 11 ¼” high. I believe I could buy them individually, however I would pay a higher price.

At the Container Store, I have more choices and better pricing. They have different widths and shapes, however if I were to buy their thin design, the closest to the Tupperware set and I were to buy each one available I would spend $42. For that $42 I would receive an extra canister, even more importantly though is that I could pick and choose my sizes. Filling an entire pantry with containers, even at a reduced price will still be costly, however in the long run I will have a clutter free pantry and some extra cash.
