I have noticed that most days I clean up my house a little here, and a little there. Very rarely does it seem like I ever clean it really well. Well, I have found that there is an answer to this.
If you decide to undertake this activity, don’t feel overwhelmed. The whole idea is to feel less stressed about cleaning. Here’s the deal: clean one room at a time. By tackling only one room at a time, you will feel less overwhelmed, and you may even notice that you feel more enthused about cleaning every room.
Now, when I say clean one room at a time, I mean that you should really clean the entire room. This does not mean to skip the closet in the corner, or the end table full of junk. It means everything in the entire room. Now, before you begin, don’t focus on the rest of the house. Think of only one room, and start small, like choose a bathroom or room that is the least cluttered.
When you begin in the room chosen, just start cleaning. Begin by de-cluttering and then move on to the deep cleaning. The key is to remove everything from the room that does not belong there. If the room is really cluttered, it may take a while so be sure to give yourself an ample amount of time.
As you accomplish each room, you might begin to feel a sense of organization and satisfaction; at least I do. Usually when I do this, I make a list. On the list I write down which room I will clean each day. Most of the time, I get excited about how good the house is looking that I actually do more than just one room. De-clutter and clean your home; one room at a time.
