No, it’s not a catchphrase of the latest movement or a nationwide command secretly issued in the State of the Union Address. Get Organized Now! is a website run by Marcia Gracia, an organizational guru who maintains thousands of organizational tips, products, and packs to help you stay on top of organizing your life.

When you first enter Marcia’s site, you’re offered an extraordinary free “Idea-Pak” featuring tons of tips, including issues with storage, time management tips, combating clutter, and even setting goals. I signed up for the “Pak” years ago and highly recommend it, as well as Marcia’s free weekly newsletter. In it, you’ll find tips you can instantly apply to your life, links to Marcia’s latest articles, and stories and tips from readers. For example, this week’s tips included topics like storing leftovers, organizing cords, and attacking that mountain of paper that always seems to accumulate.

The site itself has a little bit of everything. You’ll have to browse for a few days to really get to see it all. From inspirational quotes to filing systems, holiday planning guides to recipes, idea articles to checklists to quick tips, it’s got everything you need and more to keep your home or office completely organized.

She has a lot of products available for purchase, from books to organizational systems. One year I bought The Easy Organizer for my birthday (yeah, I’m just weird like that!) and thought it was pretty cool. I honestly didn’t need half of the sections covered in it, but I could see where plenty of other people might. I think I’m good with my regular monthly/weekly planner—plus, I’m a right brainer who likes to customize, even decorate, all of her stuff, so nothing satisfies me until I can highlight, color, or glitter-fy it!

Another issue: navigational problems with the site itself. When you click on a link, I recommend opening it in a new tab, as the back arrows won’t always take you back to your previous page; instead, they annoyingly take you back to the subscriber page, even if you’ve already subscribed.

That said, Get Organized Now! is a great place to start really taking on your organizational problems and needs. Even if you consider yourself pretty organized, there’s always a cool tip or two that you may not have heard of to consider. Marcia also issues fun weekly challenges, such as clearing out books or working on a hobby, that you might want to consider.
