If you happen to be a pet owner then you already know that trying to keep your house spotless and clean can be a struggle to say the least. No matter what you do there always seem to be a constant flow of hair, toys and other random messes left behind by our best friends. The following tips probably won’t give you that spotless house, however they can at least help to cut down on the left behind pet debris.
First let me address everyone’s biggest pet complaint, hair. Hair is a constant battle, you sweep it into the air to resettle or you vacuum yet don’t seem to actually get it all. One little thing that can be done, which by the way your pets will absolutely love is to brush them once a day, that alone will eliminate a lot of hair that would’ve eventually ended up on your floor. The other annoying problem with hair is that it seems to be hidden waiting to reappear right after you’ve cleaned. Take a small hard bristled broom and sweep along the edge of each wall before you start cleaning so that you pick more hair up , for some reason hair seems to get trapped along the walls.
Toys seem to travel from room to room, wouldn’t you say? If you haven’t already then grab yourself a little basket that will hold all of your pet toys and place it somewhere convenient yet also out of the way. This is going to be a hit or miss, I have two cats and one will leave his toys from one end of the house to the other, however my other pack will actually pick up his toys throughout the day and place them back into his basket. I love to tell you how to accomplish this, although sadly I can’t take credit he just has automatically done it from day one.
