Resolve Your Carpet Stains
As a renter over the years, keeping your carpets clean and stain free is a must. If you don't it can lead to a pretty hefty cleaning tab after your move out. Add some pets and kids into the mix and it may seem like your carpet and pocket book are doomed to take a hit when it's time to move out. Lucky for you, Resolve has your stain troubles taken care of.
Like with most messes, the sooner you take care of the problem the better. Resolve works great as a spot cleaner, stain remover and carpet cleaner when used with a shampooer. However, you need to use the product correctly. It isn't a magical cleaner that will solve all your problems but can make your carpet look like new when used right. In other words, if you see a potential stain issue, Resolve it right away.
It doesn't matter if it's a juice stain, mud or a stinky mess left behind by your new puppy that is still working on being house trained. Pre-spray with some Resolve and let it sit undisturbed for a good chunk of time. Be sure to clean up any excess dirt or mess before spraying. After it has had time to sit, grab some paper towels or rags, get them damp, and gently rub the stain away. It's that easy. Resolve gets down deep to pull up the stain from the carpet. After a few spot removals you might find yourself looking around at clean spots surrounded by dingy carpet.
Resolve also has carpet cleaning solution that you can use in your shampooer. What I like to do to get the best results is to vacuum first, pre-treat, suck up the pre-treat with the shampooer and then use the shampoo formula on the carpet. For the best results from your shampooer, make sure the water is as hot as you can get it if your shampooer doesn't come with a built in heating component for the fluid tank. The hot water in combination with the Resolve cleaner will help to dissolve the dirt and grime in your carpet much better. Keep in mind that to clean your carpets well, it is going to take quite a bit of time so it is definitely something that you need to plan a head so you don't have kids playing in the middle of the living room while you're trying to clean and then waiting for it to dry.
After you have your carpets clean it's easy to keep up with them now. Granted they will get dirty over time and that's something that you just can't avoid. But in the mean time if you have frequent spot and stain issues it might be a good idea to invest in a hand held shampooer. It works great for tough stains and it only takes a few seconds of your time to get that deep down clean that your carpet spot needs. I also highly recommend one of these for pet owners that are still working on the house training. They clean deep down into the carpet padding pulling all the urine out.
